The DoActCrazy Group (Augusta) is created primarily for artists who are passionate about being involved with producing new media, especially original video content for the web in serial and episodic formats. Actors, video bloggers, and aspiring film makers are the most obvious artists who’ll benefit from participating in this group – however, I hope this group attracts a wide scope of individuals. This includes actors, videographers, film makers, special effects / compositors, writers, musicians …
"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world." - Anne Frank Our group was founded in June 2011 with the intention of providing a way for women to network and share their talents with each other. I've left the original description at the bottom as I want to honor the woman whose idea it was to start the group. Unfortunately, I never got the opportunity to meet or know her, but I hope if she's still in the area and poking around she'll come bac …

This meetup is for writers of ALL types of genres. Whether you are a poet or a prosaist, a graphic novelist or a children's book author, each is a storyteller with a need for an audience. Why join this group? There are poetry groups or exclusive reading groups - but none like this in the area. We are social but we are there to learn from each other and we take writing fiction seriously. However, critiques are kind and painless. What should you bring to a meeting? Copies of your writing and a pen …

This group is about writing and the craft of fiction. Anybody can put keyboard/pen in hand, B-I-C, and write, but to study the craft means to create a work of art. This group is about people who are serious about studying the craft--people who want to produce their best possible work. It's also about sharing information and helping each other learn, as well. Let's have fun, share information, and prepare to create, but bring your patience--it's expected. Haters need not apply. We're all in this …

For graphic novel enthusiats, artist, and writers. Hang out, discuss favorite graphic novels & comics. i started this group with the intention of bringing together people that would like to work together to create their very own graphic novel and who knows, maybe start a self-publishing group.
I don't know about you, but I have written an entire novel. And it is brilliant. The problem is, the entire thing still lives in my head. I have started, stopped, started stopped so many times it's driving me crazy. Also, I have little to no feedback and would love to talk and listen about plot, ideas, critiques and encouragement. This is the first group I've started so I have no rules or activities, just have fun and write. I would love to hear your ideas as much as tell you mine.
